Student review (2026-10-16): I did this unit a few years ago and I absolutely loved it! I found it so interesting to learn about different aspects of Indigenous culture that I've been relatively ignorant towards. Dougie is such a great lecturer.

On Reddit: "Ayyy we got the same score for FINA. Anyway I'm gonna give you an actual serious answer. You probably aren't ready for uni if you failed INDG1160. That is not a difficult unit. You need to back up and re-evaluate."

On Reddit: "i’ve done both indg1150 and indg1160 and i loved them! everything you learn about is really interesting and the assignments are explained so well, with so many avenues to reach out and seek help (for example, in one of them the UC had a hotline you could call for direct advice)"
